Fundación Osasuna to outfit all newborns in Navarre with club kit in 2026

Osasunista desde la cuna” initiative aims to strengthen ties between the club and its community

Fundación Osasuna has launched “Osasunista desde la cuna” (Osasunista from the Cradle), a new initiative through which all babies born in Navarre starting Jan. 1, 2026, may receive a free welcome pack if their families choose to participate.

The pack includes a special full kit — jersey and shorts — a plush toy and an “En Marcha” notebook from Caja Rural de Navarra with €50 deposited. The initiative is made possible with support from Kosner, Saltoki Home, Caja Rural de Navarra, Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Grupo Virto and ATP Iluminación.

Each newborn will receive a commemorative box containing a special Macron kit identical to Osasuna’s 2025-26 match uniform, but featuring the sponsors backing the project. The goal is to allow children born in the region to feel connected to the club’s colors from birth.

Families must apply through the club’s official website. Babies born at Clínica Universidad de Navarra may receive the pack at the hospital, while those born at other centers can choose to collect it at the Fundación Osasuna offices at El Sadar or at any Caja Rural de Navarra branch across the region. Through Caja Rural de Navarra’s social action program, each newborn will also receive their first €50 in an “En Marcha” account.

“Osasuna is an essential part of Navarre’s identity,” Osasuna President Luis Sabalza said. “With this initiative, we want the girls and boys born here to feel connected to Osasuna from day one, to what our colors and values represent. It is a simple gesture, made possible thanks to our sponsors, but one that goes much further because of its symbolism as a welcome to the great red family.”

Through the initiative, the Fundación Osasuna aims to strengthen further the club’s bond with the people of Navarre. Surveys consistently show Navarre as a region where residents overwhelmingly identify with Osasuna over any other club. For years, the foundation has worked closely with schools across the region through social programs, and this project extends that connection from the very moment of birth, accompanying families at a particularly meaningful time in their lives.

“It is a simple gesture that goes far beyond itself because of its symbolism as a welcome to the great red family,” Sabalza said.
